Game Night Fellowship

Next Game Night: Sunday, November 26, 2023

6:00-8:00 p.m.

Game Night takes place in Fellowship Hall and is always the last Sunday of the month. There are usually tables for Five Crowns, Golf, Dominos, and others. Come on out and have fun with your fellow parishioners! We are taking a break in December to observe the Christmas Holiday.

Free Contemporary Christian Concert

Casual Dinner - 4:30 pm, Concert - 6:00 pm

St. John is excited to once again present the contemporary Christian band, Unbroken, in concert. We will have a dinner at 4:30 pm for which reservations are required. The dinner will be $15.00 per person, but you do not need to attend the dinner in order to attend the concert. The concert is free to the public. We'd love to see you there!

Christmas Ensemble Concert

1:00 pm

The St. John UCC of Granite City and New Bethel UMC of Glen Carbon congregations join together to present a Christmas Ensemble concert, featuring pianist Sun Hye Chung. The concert will begin at 1:00 pm at St. John United Church of Christ (2901 Nameoki Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). The concert is free to attend. We will be collecting a free will offeringfor the Operation Christmas Child program by Samaritan's Purse.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Pre-Service Music - 10:30 p.m., Service - 11:00 p.m.

We will have a traditional service of carols and scripture in the beautifully decorated Sanctuary. We will conclude with candlelight Silent Night, beginning with one verse in German (lyrics provided). Come celebrate joy to the world for all!

Spaghetti Dinner

4:00-6:30 p.m.

The Evening Guild and Brotherhood are excited to be hosting their annual Spaghetti Dinner.  The dinner will be Saturday, January 20th from 4:00-6:30 p.m.  Tickets will be $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for children ages 5 - 12, and free for children 4 and under.
